The clerk said I'm exempt for another two years, so I guess that means I'll be back in two years and a day. They obviously saw you coming and settled!!
You’ll be back.

Sure, this was made by @belfastboy as part of a trade. The dimensions are 2-3/4" brim x 5-1/2" open crown. The ribbon is 1-5/8" with a frayed trailing edge on the bow. Weight is 115g.Nice! Can you provide us with more information on that hat?
Thanks, Eric. I'm always inspired by your wonderful hat collection, daily escapades, and fine attire. I may have said to myself, "What would Eric do?" The summons said business casual so I figured a sport coat sans tie would suffice, though I suspect you probably would have been in suit and tie nonetheless.Looking sharp in your shared pic - whatever the occasion.
For this early mornings dog soirre I wore a gray Stetson Royal DeLuxe Open Road. Always a pleasure wearing this thin ribbon fedora.
Home sipping coffee and walking about I changed to a Stetson Playboy (gray).
Cheers to all, Eric -
If I had a hat with that presence that would have accompanied me yesterday, B.View attachment 360280 View attachment 360281 View attachment 360282 Greetings All:
Today...been feeling silly self-imaging under hats for awhile. Felt the old Stetson deserved a day of glory so it’s sharing a day with you all. It’s hard not to want to share such a wonderful old example of history and character and some very fine Stetson work from the early 20th century. Imo
Lot#1558 places it during those times we all love to see. I’m fortunate to have one i can wear, or more aptly, it wears me.

Be well and safe.

I think it is like they say about some baseball trades....."They were good for both teams"....The Boegels Milan as been my go to hat this summer...most head time of any of my straws. The clerk said I'm exempt for another two years, so I guess that means I'll be back in two years and a day.

It didn't occur to me until after I had changed that perhaps you may have been interested in the shoes too, so here you go (with hat to stay relevant):

Hey, gang!
The parade of hats is just terrific. Now so close to Straw Hat Day, I’m starting to panic. To help calm my nerves I grabbed the Borsa Milan for the first time this season! Why did I wait!?! I love this lid!!! View attachment 360471 View attachment 360472 View attachment 360473 View attachment 360474 View attachment 360475
Dave i’ve noticed you’ve def joined the Borsalino Band. Love it when that Band gets together. It’s a Band that once you check it out, you can never leave.Borsalino Qualita Extra Superiore

That’s a great hat, Jim. Don’t recall you wearing all that many dark hats or seeing this K-F before. New arrival??At 2 1/4", not a very wide brim; however, the proportions on this one seem to fit well. I'm not certain of the age of this Knapp-Felt, but this near-pristine hat may be one of my oldest.
