Thanks Mike!It is nice to see you doing your part Joe. Great back bow.

That is just gorgeousDay 20 of 31 Hat Parade: A little late to the party today, but somehow, a 3 hour nap was deemed more important. Covid lock down dreams. Today, another one of my custom hats from Northwest Hats - the "Bone Lord's Hat". Sounds ominous, but the name comes from the color of the beaver felt, bone. This color is very close to white, quite a scary hat to wear (stains...). The Lord's Hat is basically a homburg without a binging ribbon on the brim. They became popular as a 'dressed down' version of this style for a more casual day wear. Archived images again, working in the garden today, not the environment for this hat for sure.

Stunningly beautiful hat Mike. And as much as I admire Eric and the adventures his fine hats take... I feel your fear and I am glad you did not wear this one for gardening duties.Day 20 of 31 Hat Parade: A little late to the party today, but somehow, a 3 hour nap was deemed more important. Thank you! The outside looks wonderful!
Maybe I will ask Ignacio to make one for me from the felt of the Loro Piana I bought.
A Spaghetti Western!
Fabulous hat!
May not be the finest weave, but a nice looking panama all the same, Brent.
I really like that Resistol. Must have a look for one.A Resistol San Antonio seemed the appropriate choice for fetching BBQ for dinner.

Breathtaking hat. Must be one of your finest, Steve. This week I will feature Echter Borsalino Hats which were made for the German Market. The hats will be from the late 1920s up to the 1950s.
Echter Borsalino "Bismuto" (Bismuth) and "Sanboca", Point 6 1/2, date stamped 17.5.29 (May 17, 1929). The felt is very soft / light weight with a unique box bow design for this style hat and also has a looped wind cord. It has an fantastic over welt curled brim and the non-reed sweatband is very finely stitched to the hat. The Berlin store / hat company (Max Eckard) that sold it did not survive WWII.
Date Stamp 17. 5. 29.
The box the hat came in is from a Berlin hat store (Philipp Neubauer Berlin)that survived WWII but not the locations listed (I have / had a few hats from this store).
Thanks, Mike. We just have to let the hats tell us when that's the case. That brim stitching is fantastic Stefan. I agree about feathers, sometimes they are just...right.
Good to see that one again, Mike. I think that is a very special one because it captures the true vintage feel so well.Day 20 of 31 Hat Parade: A little late to the party today, but somehow, a 3 hour nap was deemed more important. Happy Birthday to Mom!Oh, man, Mike... With each passing day I get more like my mother, who “sort of“ celebrated her 93rd year with us yesterday. This beautious ’Berg is a Caxton, but my memory said otherwise.
Here is the proof!

Classic lines and quality Stefan. Nice color too. Have you been locked out of your occupation due to all this?Upwards and onwards. German week 4, day 4. Morale is high; seeing so many good specimens. We feel we are getting close, but still have a way to go.

Keep safe, those beautiful hats need to "walked" every day. Somehow they become our pets.Bob Dong Wabash Cap with a Tate & Yoko Chambray Face Mask on the Masked Corona Crawl this afternoon. These 8 panel cloth caps work well when the trade winds are blowing, as they stay on the head better in a gust.
Swam out past the surfers but kept getting slammed by the odd big wave. Swimming out and back into shore it was like a washing machine.
Things are really starting to open up here and there were only kids out surfing as I suppose a lot of guys are going back to work. I’m going to keep social distancing and wait and see.

Wonderful hat to watch the sunrise in. I too have had my internal clock affected. I have been up before the sun consistently for a while now. I don't look as good as you do though.Good morning. A dog soiree and while wearing a Knox Twenty were my morning agenda.
Back home and sipping coffee. Sunrise was at 5:36am - glorious sight.
Cheers. Be safe, be strong and see you on the streets soon, Eric -
