Got that earlier today. After I cropped the photo, it posted. Not sure if that's what did it.View attachment 229112
This morning I put on one of my no name thrift store straws. This one has a nice, vented weave but a super cheap fabric sweatband with a zig-zag stitch along the bottom to create a real sweatband look. This is one of my collection destined for remodelling, improved inside and outside trim. This spring was planned as my H&RH business opening, first at a flea market then at street fairs, festivals and the like. COVID threw me a curve.
Is anyone else getting Security Alert when they try to upload images? I'm going to have to try adding them from another device.

I think it's more of a chocolate brown. Different monitors and devices do display different colors for sure. Thanks. Is the Whippet oxblood? I'm never sure about colors. They look a bit different between my phone, laptop and the bigger monitor connected to my docking station. Excellent look, Michael, with the color palette head to toe. Great, soft overcoat too.
Way to end the week, Stefan. Love that binding on the Latest Style.Part II

Thanks Joe.Excellent Michael
Thanks Stefan. It is a sort of unusual color for a vintage OR.Thank you, Eric. The Knox and Gannon look stunning.
Excellent, Michael. Lovely colour on that one.
Thanks, Joe.
Besides excellent hats, Eric, your posts always make me feel like I'm strolling along beside you conversing with you on our walk.Out early afternoon for a long walkabout wearing a Stetson Stratoliner.
Evening, post dinner salad, walk in a Stetson Stratoliner in a camel hued felt. Betwenn the time I put the hat on and got home the crown took a bang. This was not a deliberate opportunity to channel Pharrel Williams.
Hats get worn, even with crazy creases.
Be safe, be strong and see you on the street soon, Eric -
Kevin of YouTube infamy has a good means of perking up that flange with a little steam and finger pressure. You should try it. I've restored snap that way more than once.30 Days to 30 Hats - Day 19
Penny’s Marathon

1950s Penny’s Marathon
Soft thin tan felt
4 1/2 crown as bashed
1 inch matching grosgrain ribbon with shark gills bow
2 5/8 brim with matching grosgrain binding
On to another favorite.. The Penny’s Marathon. The shark gills ribbon is always an attention grabber. Love the thin moldable felt. Though it does have a small weak spot under the front of the pinch which can make it slouch a bit in the front.. but definitely gives it character

Hope all goes well with your handAnother el-cheapo I have plans for. View attachment 229172 Inside of that grey sock is a splinter left hand. Trying to keep the splint clean and pretty.
I believe I have a fracture in a wrist bone but because of a severe wrist shatter close to 40 years ago the x-rays were inconclusive. Setting an appt. with a hand surgeon tomorrow. If those small bones die it's goodbye to the use of my hand.
I HATE it when that happens.Yes of course, I knew that. I just had my brands mixed up!
I like ginger women, and drummers. Does that count?Squinting against the last days of a beautiful spring day.
Dorfman Pacific Panama for me today.

And if there are any ginger beer fans out there, I highly recommend this one:

The slouch I was referring to is in the front of the crown... gives it a kinda mule kick. Steam might help there too.Kevin of YouTube infamy has a good means of perking up that flange with a little steam and finger pressure. You should try it. I've restored snap that way more than once.
I eat nails for breakfast.Hope all goes well with your hand
Cheerio and all that.Stefan, Thanks! Today is the last day. Will have to think up something else.
Grand finale to English Hat series!
