Echter Borsalino "Bismuto" "Sanboca" date stamped May 17, 1929. The Berlin store Max Eckard that sold the hat did not survive WWII. This hat is in mint condition and one of three Echter Borsalinos from my April 2015 find.

The carton the hat was in is from a Berlin hat store Philipp Neubauer Berlin that survived WWII but not the locations listed.

Cork spacers that were in the hats. I failed to note which hats they were associated with.

Absolutely fantastic, Steve.

+1 on that review. A real corker... and a treasure.[/QUOTE]
Alan, Thank you! I wasn't sure the three hats would ever arrive. The seller was not in good health and very erratic but some how the hats made it.

I remember your Borsalino - Black Sheep custom project. As usual Bob did fantastic work. It looks like a pre WWII Borsalino! Super!
