My brown Muench. I think it looks a lot like an Indy fedora with the exception of the band.

I'm happy everything went well Joe.

Here is my Valentine’s Day “waiting on my Sweet Valentine to have gallbladder removal surgery” Cavanagh

she came through with flying colors and recovering well so far... now just waiting for the docs to decide on release... hopefully this afternoon or evening.

And Dobbs Four Seasons today.

What's your opinion on the breathability/comfort of this material? Is it difficult to pair given the color? (I have a couple green fur hats but they don't get much head time given the color coordination difficulties.) Twice I've seen these pop on eBay in my size for a very reasonable price but I waffled and ended up missing out.

I wear black and gray exclusively, so color is not a problem for me.
I find them to be very comfortable, as to breathability, I have nothing to compare it to. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help, but I have five of them.

Five sounds like a pretty good a testimonial to me. I'll probably pull the trigger next time I find one at a good price. Thanks for the feedback!

They are very serviceable hats and they breathe pretty well too. I have 2 or 3 of the hemp Stratoliners and I like them; they take hard use better than toquilla straw. A fine weave Panama is an incredible thing to behold and wear, but for daily summer wear I prefer Milan hats (the weave, not just the real Milan straw).

Five Years ago today, hours after the end of a second blizzard in as many weeks, I wore this 1952 Stetson St. Regis homburg to my daughter's wedding.

So, tonight we're babysitting while they go out. Ahh, grand-parenthood!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, my friends.
Great pics (and memories), Charlie. You looked just as good then as you do now (and vice versa). How do you do that?
