Thanks, Randy. The colour is called eventide grey, which is a well chosen name for it. Grey with reddish and indeed purple tones to it, depending on the light. Don't have anything like it in my collection. That one is very nice, Stefan. It looks to have a purple cast on my screen. How is the color in real life?
Nice work by Rick, Randy. I like these shallow flange brims. Lovely.Hat and Hogs. Getting my requisite "hund'erd dollars" of parts and checking out the new bikes at Kent's Harley Davidson in Abilene, TX today. Window shopping under a chocolate and burgundy Phoenix Hat on this very pleasant (finally!) fall day in Texas.

Produzione Albertini 1817 - Intra - Italia. "Argo" is the name of the hat

The felt is soft and with an amount of wool inside, the color is "Nocciola". This is one of the oldest hats I have in my collection from the "lake hatters"

Albertini was the first hats producer in Italy to use machinery, it merged in Panizza probably before the WWII even if there are many hats producers on the Lago Maggiore that went into the Panizza arms during the years

Small note for connoisseurs of English hats: look for the Albertini heirs in Luton, it's an interesting story
I wish you a good day and I want to tell you that I do not comment on the many magnificent hats that appear here every day, I have linguistic difficulties and I often know very little about American headwear in order to express opinions.
It does! Very nice hat and jacket, Doug.Still one of my favorites, this grey-blue Royal Stetson goes so well with any number of shirts and jackets.

With hats like that no fasting is needed, Charlie. They count as full indulgence!Decisions, decisions.
On this Day of Atonement, what’s best for the holiday?!
(I probably should’ve started fasting last week...)

Innards and specs posted in The Champ thread.
Maybe they meant that Vicunas just helped making the hat, MaxI was reading about Vicuñas last night, and remembered to wear my Churchill 100.
It says 'BEAVER "100" MADE WITH VICUÑA'.
I wonder what percentage is vicuña. Vicuñas are supposed to have hollow hair, so I guess it would be possible to make a count.
What I do know is that the felt is outstanding.
