Mariposa County in central California. It’s looking down toward Cathys Valley and the San Joaquin valley beyond. This is right off of Highway 140 and about 35 miles from the Arch Rock entrance to Yosemite National Park. It’s also now part of my commute in to work.

Two things about vintage. Too expensive and they would never fit my 7.5 sized head. Besides I like wearing them! RJ Preston makes the nicest felt sombreros I've seen and at a bargain price IMO. Half the price of a decent all beaver western these days. Mine just keeps getting better and better and it was fine the day it showed up here.

Good evening. This morning I was out in a Lee All American. I have a couple felt colors of this model and really enjoy the fedora. This one is in a tan felt.

Late morning I was outside doing chores in a Marathon with gills.
