Man, Doggie, that one checks all the boxes.
Thanks Jim, The bath was naptha with the ribbon and liner removed. I thought the hat was pretty clean but when I took the ribbon off I saw that it really was pretty dirty. After a good soaking i got it to an almost uniform light gray with a hint of blue. I soaked the ribbon in cold water and Woolite. The liner only needed wiping with a damp sponge.
I have a reddish brown 2" ribbon that looks good indoors, I see tomorrow how it looks in natural light. If that doesn't work I'll start searching for a medium gray or maybe navy ribbon for it. Etsy is a good idea.

I wish I could find a hat like that. Looks great.

Hey everyone!
I am honoring a master weaver in Ecuador whose name I don't know today by wearing his or her art in the form of this Optimo Superfino. Plus, it's a beautiful afternoon.

Just as long as I don't think about that broken brim too much... :)
Have a great day!

Long day building the set for our latest production. Lots of theater dust and sawdust, so I left the Stetson Pork Pie on my Stage Manager's desk. Felt on this one is too nice to be a theater beater. I will be going into "black" mode next week, stage ninjas wear this color (or lack there of...) to disappear while moving set pieces.

Is the hat ribbon showing a pattern in it, or is that just the camera playing tricks?
