Killer jacket!
Thanks Roger. It's an old Lands' End.

More shots tomorrow, but here's a first one (which doesn't really do it justice). The Dobbs gamebird Richard (Morgan) generously traded with me. Stunning felt, stunning hat, stunning everything. It was a size too small, but It took hardly any persuasion to convince it that it was the hat for me. Thanks go out to Richard for this one.

Well... I suppose there is no better way to start the weekend than to be under the new to me Mac Lachlan.

And thanks for all of your likes and kind words about the Mac Lachlan I wore earlier.

I hope that you each have the best start to the weekend, ever.

Dayam Matt. I'm going to have to slap a restraining order on you. Too much hat envy to bear. Ha ha. What a nice find.

Started a training program today for my Class A CDL. I was the only guy with felt - the trusty Last Drop 3X. He recently had a pre-WWII cavalry cord added to him.

Here’s to the next four weeks in Joplin, MO - quite a change for me from SE Asia!

very nice, Arthur Schopenhauer would suggest saving your genetic profile to the human pool. P-)

The brim and crown are what draw me to this one Karl. Super nice.

Hella grau Harv. It looks so light, does the sun lighten it up more?

Three inch brim offers decent protection from the rain and it’s also my favorite width for my western conversions.

Now this is how I would rock an OR. Cattleman creases are classic, but I like yours better.

Champ to the office today. View attachment 113327
I like the non-contrast of this one. It just glows.

Snow drifts to straw hats in less than a month, this weather is crazy.

Let's keep it this way. No more snow...

Wonderful hat.

Eugenics... an anti-wonderful development in history. Profoundly interesting topic despite the horrors and errors. Once again... you make me covet your life.
I found a quote that I titled my paper that was appropriate, "The Science that dares not speak it's name" My first paper on the subject, when I was a Senior in 2012 was Ooooooo Ssssssss eUgenics! I will be teaching a session of the class in a couple of weeks about higher educations complicity in promoting this horrible episode in world wide history. The Borsalino worked well for the meeting.

The prohibition of blue and blue and green pairing always puzzled me. One of the first fashion "rules" I remember hearing in the very early 1960s. I still ask, "why NOT?!"

The proportions of that Borsa you're wearing today are spectacular for you, Karl!!
My first Mother-in-Law had Blue and Green shag carpeting in the whole house in 1974! Brings back memories.
