Not much of a shocker to find me enjoying wearing my new Archer cap this morning. Dog walk and yard chores in wool. Green caps matter.

Starting the grill for a pork roast, roasted potatoes while wearing a blue Gannon (charcoal trimmings). Blue hats matter.

WOW! I am sure that you can hear my clapping coming from here in Minnesota. What you can not see is that I have tipped my brim in your general direction. That hat is marvelous. Just plain marvelous. Congrats - I am glad that it has a grand home on your hat rak.

I think that it looks great. The first thing that popped into my head when I saw you was Don Taylor in the great 1948 film "The Naked City".

The only things I might do is wear it with a bit of angle and play with the crown for less taper. Of course... that junk is just my opinion on presentation. Each person has his own preferences. But, it certainly doesn't look too big to me.

Trying this vintage suit I did find this week in a thrift store. It has wide lapels and a four pockets waistcoat and fitted me perfectly, even the hem of the trousers was in the right lenght.
