The only proper thing to do is go for the top hat of course. I don't know what the market is for those in the US. What size are you?

New Top Hats are hard to come by. No one near me sells them. Some of the more well-known hat shops who advertise on the internet can get them. Optimo makes one which is probably a safe option, or Christy's. I know some of them are made of satin and some are fur felt. I guess this has turned into a new hat quest. I am 59.5 cm (7 3/8 long oval) most European hats closer to 60cm.

That Albino is one of my new favorites Stefan. It is the perfect match for that coat. Would like to see more of it. Beautiful.

New toppers don't have the same quality as vintage ones. I see quite a lot of vintage toppers on Dutch auction sites for reasonable prices. Larger sizes are much more rare of course, but I can keep an eye out if you want.
