I love the color of the felt and the ribbon! Looks great in the sun. The brim is perfect.

This is one fantastic Dobbs Matt. That brim is super! I assume mid to late 1950s? Stupendous!
From T.H.P.'s site, that's what I've gathered.

Great looking Dobbs, Matt.

Thanks fellas.

Have a killer Sunday.

Nothing better than Bacon and a Battersby. As a pre-birthday treat my wife fed me candied bacon and artisan bread french toast. The nearest hat was the Homburg so this is kind of a still life. I put this hat on after breakfast. Tonight, a fine Italian meal, sounds like a Borsalino is in order.

Wow Harv, this is probably my most favorite of your Weis collection. Love everything about this hat, color, crease and ribbon, oh my!

Great to see these displayed on your noggin Stefan. It was a joy to assemble a representation of fine men's hats (becaus I got to play with them first) from the USA to be worn proudly in Volendam. Made me smile today!

Yay, the Dalt-O-Liner! Always loved this one. Great liner logo and details. Have a fantastic day Jim.

This Rand is shaping up to be a real show stopper Bob. Great lines and cool band.

I am so impressed with this Playboy Richard. What era does it come from? Is it unlined? My clone from Mike Miller is similar in color (sand) but with a mid ribbon and bow. I am enjoying the comparison. Very impressive.
Mike, thanks, it is a very nice hat. It does have a liner though it's a bit faded. Unfortunately, I did that soaking it in Woolite. It was dirty but still legible before cleaning so I know that the crest had a maple leaf instead of stars. There is an intact $10 price tag inside the sweat. Using the dating Stetsons by price thread, it seems that Playboys and Royal Stetsons in general were priced at $10 from 1949-1956. The maple leafs and price tag that is not OPS would indicate sometime between 1954 and 56. The only hitch is the lack of a plastic tip protector. There is not trace that there was one but I have to assume it was removed at some point.
