Everything as it should be as usual Dlaniger. I like how the scarf (looks like cashmere?) lifts the whole thing up. I need one in that colour.Missed the light again. Had to settle for artificial luminescence.

Like the others have said, great hat and great picture. Now all we need is someone with a Champ that takes the snow like a Gannon! We don’t get snow very often in Mississippi, but my Gannon handled it like a champ today.

Matt, thanks. I don't wear it often enough but it took four different kinds of showers (rain, sleet, snow and hail) with ease.Good to see you, Stefan. That is a hell of a hat.Deadly hat, my friend. Super hat and a just as super pic. Enjoy that snow.
Sergej, thanks. It has everything I want in a hat but there's something about it that keeps me from wearing it more often (I think it is its shape). That's a nice one, Stefan. Nice textured felt.

View attachment 97170I think these two hats are cousins. This one looks like a guild edge also, yes? Mine does not have a wind trolley though. Does have the same lines though.

Always nice to see that one, Matt. Seeing that (great) picture of the shop made me wonder if one could get away with a shop name like that today.Going with a homburg (and my favorite Vita-Felt) for this beautiful, cold, wet Saturday morning. It was originally purchased at the Young Men's Shop in Washington, DC.
The photo of the store I attach was taken in 1921. So, it is from twenty-something years before the hat's birthday.
May each of you have the most bestabulistical Saturday possible.

Thanks LMM, it's at Calico Ghost Town. It was a real silver mining town in the 1880s. The town was bought by Walter Knott, who owned Knotts Berry Farm, in the 1950s. It is now a county park.Looking mighty fine...where did you park your horse? Had to get that in there, as it looks like an old movie set where you are at in the picture. Waiting for John Wayne to pop out!

The OR looks great Michael. Perfect crease. That overcoat looks yummy as well. That color combo works, gives me confidence. I think the brown/tan tones in that are a good pairing with the gray coat.Dang cold wind out there this morning. 1950s 3X OR is shielding the pate from the worst of it.
