Hello Sir: didn’t have words for this pic when first posted. Took bout 20 mins to re-find it but saved me a few hundred goin for a Stetson 100. But thats ok. If ever a ribbon was made for a coat or ever a coat for a ribbon then dis be dat. I “know” when you sport this get up you walk tall and all is well in the world! Perfect! Be well. Bowen PS: can’t eat the 100 anyway!! HaThanks! Funky and cold, but Medina is a few hours away.
Somehow, I hosed the first pic. It's a beautisimeous Knox, and I got it from Matt a while back.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Hello Sir: Belly laugh!! I know! That’s what i was referring to! I recall the extanct referrencee, the players, the score and the outcome. I wanted to play but was still a closet troll. It was great. Right up there with the “homeless” fun. I remember you waiting to get that hat too! Perfect. Be well. BowenThanks Bowen. Thanks Red!Nice and smooth looking felt. My old Mossant does not have its logo remaining. I saved this image for future reference. Thanks.
It's a great hat, Mike. Definitely a favorite... and the Slats... and.... you get the picture. And you wear it very well.I had Mike Gannon go all the way up to 6". It took a little getting used to. Kept stopping to look at myself in mirrors, store windows, and reflections on the ground. You really have to wear this one.
It really is a fantastic suit, Michael. Color me jealous...Yeah, I still love it too. Very light and comfy hat.
Me too. The texture and drape are great too.

To me it has that look of the suits in the movies from the '30s to the early '50s. I'm a happy camper.
That was a very clean look you had going on for church today. Very tailored look.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks Doug, and right back at ya!It's a great hat, Mike. Definitely a favorite... and the Slats... and.... you get the picture. And you wear it very well.
Inspirational Penman, you are the hat evangelical. Converts to the dark side.I wore my Penman Everyman Indy hat to work today and had 2 older guys said how much they liked the hat. One took John's info to see about a hat for himself.
.
Bowen, thank you very much for the kind words! I greatly wish I could uber with the car... imagine, haha!Hello Sir: Another great hat! Zilla got a nice hat to!! That would be an “Uber” Uber!! Be well. Bowen
Thank you Red. Much appreciated. Yeah, I've always felt that a black fedora looked too formal which is why I chose a thin ribbon to give it more of a Stratish/ORish casual look. What a fantastic parade of hats Eric. I dig your style.
I still love the same old Stetson. I thought you just found a great jacket, scrolling down...Wow! That is a statement, looks warm.
I like it. Great crown shape and kind of a less formal look to a black fedora. Nice Terry!
Now that's fresh fish! Look delicious en like a fun day out!!Fishing Expidition results

Nice conversion, the black looks fine on you.Just finished up on this one yesterday. This was a prior conversion I did on a black Resistol Western that Anthony gifted to me. I didn't care much for the block that I first used, so I took it apart again and re-did it on a different block, one that was much straighter sided. This second blocking gave me a taller and open crown shape that I like much better now than before. Still, a black hat, though. I'm not a big fan of black hats. Not sure if the black color suits me. Although, I like the new crown shape much better. The thin ribbon I have on it isn't attached. I'm looking for a black 3/8 ribbon to put on it for an OR style bow and ribbon work. I'll have more pics in the conversion corral....
Very Sharp! Love the tall crown!Went a little formal for church this morning, I was liturgist and had to be in front of everybody. Navy Gannon with it's final (yeah right...) crease. Got some nice "looks" at the grocery store afterward. I think the crown is kind of imposing for the Great Unwashed.
