Thanks Red. That's my deerskin blazer with some army surplus stuff. Supposed to get into the upper 60s here today, so it should be about right for a bike ride.Fantastic look today Michael, love that leather blazer.
Hatpeople full cut cap Yesterday (my youngest son is wearing a fleece lined wool cap).
That is a puzzle, I'm interested to learn about it's licensed origins. Nice looking Stetson though. Not shopping in an Stetson made under license in some unidentified Spanish speaking country. No sweatband or lining when I got it. Scott at Fine Vintage Fedoras cleaned, blocked and added liner and sweat. If anyone has info on where and when it may have been made please enlighten me.
2 different manufacturer tags seem to indicate 50s or maybe even 40s, but not sure the tags are a good indicator on licensed hats.

Love the hats..... and the matchesGood morning. A day off has me starting early with a dog walk and raking the beach. I am taking advantage of the forecasted nearly 50'F day. Seriousely 50'F! Normaly on this weekend we have some snow on the ground. Anywhoo, wearing a Gannon (natural felt with gill ribbon).
I have been cutting and trimming bushes in a vintage Stetson Stratoliner. This is my yard work hat and has a internal liner with the harder plastic like tip cover. The bash changes when I bump into the rose and other bushes. I like to think the hat crease takes the shape of my yard work. After working I wipe down the leather sweat and liner. After a quick treatment of the leather, the hat sits on a block. The hat has proven itself to always be ready for the next chore.

Thanks Karl. It is darker than the usual, and it has a nice changing ability going from a darkish grey to olive depending on the light and angle. The ribbons are almost the same color is my olive drab pants that I'm wearing today.I love the darker than usual on here colour. Nice with brim up too.

Lovely Gannon. I like the concept of letting the shrubbery "bash" your Strat. Sure is a beautiful yard work lid.Good morning. A day off has me starting early with a dog walk and raking the beach. Hey, the Vintage Shopping Service is a great idea. I would trust Michael to shop for me! He seems to have the eagle eye. Should I send you my sizes? Hand-me-downs?Michael, you have to let me know if you ever open a vintage clothing store, or better yet, a vintage shopping service. The deer skin jacket blew me away. You have such eclectic tastes and you always pull them off wonderfully! Love the brim up OR.

I'd hate to think that Michael passes on vintage hats, coats, etc. that are my size. Wherever he's getting those items there isn't an equivalent in my area. I too have no problem trusting his sense of style.
