My specialest hat... from a company that was at its height c.1905 and was completely gone by the start of WWI. For those who haven't seen it before, more photos here.

Wearing my new Borsalino Homburg down to NW Hats for a little stretch. Sits a little to high on the noggin. Also taking my Huckel Chamois down to have Mike bring it down a size. No amount of stuffing under the sweat makes it a comfortable fit.

This morning under the threat of a Storm Warning (snow) I am wearing a Simonds Cap.

If it is going to be cold - let it snow!

Best way to get used to the weather? Go out in it. More snow and cold today. Trying not to be a sissy but really wish I had my toque or ushanka right about now.

Not even 40 hours in at the new job and I've been up all night being dizzy, nauseas and vomiting. Pinched nerve in the neck at C-1 I'm thinking. Both of my go-to chiropractors are out of the office today so I am heavily drugged for the moment.

I posed for pics and soon I am going to attempt to lie down and get some sleep... if the room doesn't start spinning again. Pain is one thing, but this shiite is debilitating. I thought back and my first episode of this was in about 1980 so 37 years of this crap is really getting old.

Anyway, here's a quick outdoor pic of the new Gannon natural beaver with frayed slate ribbon and a twisted bow keeper. Belgian ribbon finishes off the brim. Couple more pics in the Gannon thread.

Not the greatest pics and they do no justice to the great colors, especially those in the bow.
