Have you posted close-ups of the edge elsewhere? Where? I'd like to see them. If not, will you oblige?...It's a nice felted edge if thats what you mean...
Thanjs Richard!Very nice Lee. it looks sage on my screen, is it?
Oh yeah, I'd trade you in a heartbeat. I live the in the San Joaquin Valley and I hate it. I retiring to Washington (state) and every summer I escape the heat and vacation in British Columbia. The cost of living is the only redeeming quality of where I live. Nowhere near as nice, or as expensive, as Palo Alto.
Amongst other things that's a perfect ribbon width.
FANTASTIC! You really impressed the heck out of me with this one, Daniele! A perfect Homburg!C'est l'automne, le temps du diplomatique
Antonin France Chapeau del Luxe
Today fog and some cold, the right time for a homburg made in France probably in the forties
Soft felt in a very delicate nuance of brown, without lining, only a patch into the crown
Buon giovedì
Many, many thanks for all the likes on the Borsalino "Corteccia"
A fitting tribute, to be sure!In honor of Matt's triumphant return to the fold, I decided to brave the rain today in the Mallory Ten homburg he sent my way.

Thanks Karl! I was quite pleased with the color, it looked browner in the sellers pics. Why thank you.
really nice hat, similar colour to a Panizza i have perhaps, I like the understated mono look, and with that nice stitching and wind lassoo, really nice.
Well then thanks Bob!
Thanks mmb!Have you posted close-ups of the edge elsewhere? Where? I'd like to see them. If not, will you oblige?
It's an extraordinary hat.
Wow that a way cool hat. Have you worn anything post WWII recently?
Beautiful. Looks fantastic from close-up and afar.As promised.
Out if all my felted edge hats, this one is by far the lowest profile welt. So slight of a bump that when I first pulled it out of the shipping box it looked to me (with my poor vision) like someone had removed a brim binding. It was only when I felt it that I realized what it was.

1 like for the hat. 1 more for the great news. Way to go, Doug.Running errands in the NW Hats conversion western-> Outback. Cold, wet, rainy, high of 58F today.
I got a call from the manager today offering me the position. Looks like I'll have the responsibility for all the required paperwork on firearms transfers for a huge Cabelas store... plus an employee discount, hehehe. Kid in a candy store... yikes!
.
Looks great, Richard.Stetson Twenty Five OR new ribbon, edge binding and sweat from Scott at Fine Vintage Fedoras
