while working in the yard.

Oh yeah, I'd trade you in a heartbeat. I live the in the San Joaquin Valley and I hate it. I retiring to Washington (state) and every summer I escape the heat and vacation in British Columbia. The cost of living is the only redeeming quality of where I live. Nowhere near as nice, or as expensive, as Palo Alto.

really nice hat, similar colour to a Panizza i have perhaps, I like the understated mono look, and with that nice stitching and wind lassoo, really nice.

those fires looked intense on TV.

No kidding...I'm hoping the wet night helped calm them down some. Most were only 40-60 percent contained two nights ago, with lots of bone-dry fuel to consume if the winds picked back up. It was kind of surreal looking at the aftermath of just the small amount of damage to the highway. Couldn't imagine what it would be like to see your whole neighborhood gone.

Good morning. Up early for a cool and breazy dog walk. Wearing a vtg. Stetson De Luxe Open Road (gray).

Yard pick-up in a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner (sage). Under-brim shot better protrays the sage color.

Moe's Dunlap panama from his recent straw scoop reminded me to get down my Dunlap duplex for another wear before the chill sets in to stay. The straw weave signature of the crown in both hats is very similar.

Love the weave on that duplex. When I saw first saw one from Texas Hatters I thought they were too strange, funny how opinions can change.
