Just heard Tom Petty just died. I'm pretty upset. Not to mention the goings on in Vegas. What a bummer of a day.
Anyway, Marathon Monday for me. Just scored some sweet 40s ties in some great autumn colors.

That's wool? Looks like leather to me -- the belted number you wore with the 50's Royal Deluxe?

Ah, I didn't look at your quote closely enough. Today's coat is wool, yesterday's was leather. Made in Winnipeg Canada by Victoria Leather. I'm guessing it was made between the late 60s and 1982 when the company went out of business. Light weight cowhide I suspect. It's a nice Norfolk inspired piece with a zip out wool tartan lining.
