Still love that color. I would have to change a lot of wardrobe selections to go with green

thanks red, bought the winter overcoat pictured this morning, the reason I went with grey is it goes with most of my hats.

Yeah, me too. An true vintage Whippet is one of those hats that's on my bucket list. Too bad I'll probably kick the ol' bucket before I could ever afford to buy one. But, you definitely wouldn't want one of the modern ones though. They're not anywhere close to the originals. You could either wait and find one on ebay or you could have a custom Whippet clone made up for yourself. If I had the materials to work with, like more ribbon and a few more sweats, plus a hat to convert, I'd make my own.

There's nice one out on eBay for $1500.00; that's out of touch with reality.

I'm happy of the "new" color. Others "Mittel Europe" hats labeled as black turn to be deep blue
