Righteous crown height Justin. Love this one a lot.

I understand you are an aviation enthusiast?

There is a prop in the woods near my house that I walk past while walking the dog that I have always found interesting... maybe you can tell me what it is.

I've always wondered how it got there and why it was there

Cool, it does look out of place. What diameter do you think it would be?

The '47 is another of my favorites of yours. The contrast of the thin brown ribbon is what draws me to this hat.

Hey folks!
The sharp pop of a roofer's nail gun echoes across my otherwise quiet neighborhood, a sure sign of summer winding down, and the coming rainy season. But it isn't here yet!

It must feel great to trot out the new ones! This hat is really special.

You are very welcome. We are surrounded by them sadly. Our air quality has been terrible (bordering on unhealthy) hear so we are stuck indoors now on my two days off. So once again my trip to Oregon gets postponed:( Lol, I guess I just have some bad luck lately.
Doug and I are waiting patiently for your arrival! You couldn't make through the Columbia Gorge right now anyway, Cascade Locks are burning down, fire on both sides of the river.

Donegal tweed cap. :)

Beautiful colors and pattern.

Smoke and ash fallout up here, Red. Which causes a brilliant red sunrise. I was working outside for a few hours this a.m. and ash kept falling on my car! I'm inside now, but wore the Country Gentleman parabuntal when I was outside.

Is Jeremy going to make it over this week? Next week is the big Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel. Sandra has never been, so we're planning a trip over the following Saturday (9/16). I can wear my green shorthair finish Breiter Traveler! I bought it especially for Oktoberfest, you know...

Perfect hat for the Mt. Angel Octoberfest, you will fit right in. We have no sun, there was a slight hint of a pink spot, but it went away. Not much ash in Albany, but it is coming. Jeremy could not make it through the gorge anyway, it will be closed for a while I'm afraid.

It's as bad as I can remember. My hour drive home from work last night was even hard on me. Normally it doesn't bother me but my eyes felt like sand paper and got dizzy
I guess we are all in the same boat Jer. Most of the smoke for us is blowing up from the south, now with the fire in the Columbia Gorge, we are stuck in the middle.

A sunrise from yesterday, when we still had a sun, no sign of it this morning other than a little pink sliver.

I just happened to remember I told HJ I'd show him the new Crease .
You & Al have sold me on a Taupe Fawn CD to be worn with a Cattleman crease. The last CD I bought didn't have much of a cup to the brim (which is what I normally want) but if it doesn't work out or I don't get the OR fee from it I can always wear it fedora style.

Now I just need to decide if I want to wait 3 months to save a few $$...nah!

Great hat, great shot, Ant! I hope you were able to extinguish the flames on Athena's marshmallow...
Axl is quite the little bruiser now!!

she likes her marshmallow charred ... either that or she just likes to wield a torch

Love the colors on that Whippet. Have you an idea on it's age?

View attachment 85031
I'm quite happy with this color combo. Not sure the age. It has a keyhole size tag that doesn't have Stetson written on it. If I remember what Anthony said somewhere around here correctly that happened in the early '50s.

Love that ad. That guy has the "casual" look down. Ha ha.

Thanks,
Michael
