@cmoy I'm still hunting for a vintage strat!
Here's a few quick and dirt shots of mine. It has the leaf on the liner and stars on the sweatband. I would guess this is early 50's? It's very dusty! My Whippet is also gray. I need a different color!
very nice Chris
you will enjoy this one thoroughly
put it here

Don't kno abt the hat but that's one cheesy lookin smiley face on that model.Wearing one of these canvas Tilleys today, but the brim arrived disheveled.
Can I possibly iron the brim flat while placing a bandanna over it to protect from burning.....anyone ?
Thanks

Very nice Steve. I always love a back bow. I guess it was a fad all over, wonder who had them first? I know they were popular before the War as well, and the comeback was in the mid to late 50s."Lollar" Wool Back Bow, probably somewhere between late 1930s to late 1940s, no company mark but I have a few old German Wool hats with this same paper label.
Wonderful Whippet! Even with some dust it appears to be in great original shape. Wear it often! Here's a few quick and dirt shots of mine. It has the leaf on the liner and stars on the sweatband. I would guess this is early 50's? It's very dusty! My Whippet is also gray. I need a different color!

NOT boots, @Bamaboots, but Allen Edmonds woven wingtip clodhoppers.
Gamblers used to keep the Ace of Spades under their hat...Never mind. My brim seemed to have flattened out after leaving it up cowboy style for awhile.
The biggest attraction to Tilleys is the inside stash pocket in their hats. 1 million and one ways to make use of it !
