Good morning. Wearing a new shirt this morning. Trying out blue. Enjoying a blue morning. The blue shirt has the camera "really" seeing blue.

Bluer than blue this morning, Eric -

That cadet blue Strat is my absolute, all-time favorite hat I've seen. Chances of finding one in my size (7): virtually nil. I'd like to at least have a clone made. Do any of the custom hatters out there have this color felt, though? Art does not, nor does Michael Gannon.

The sun came out and Eric's cadet blue Stetson cheered me up so happier than yesterday under the rain and clouds - weekend Wormser./QUOTE]

Thanks sir. The vintage cadet blue is easily worn. I am glad that the blue provides cheer - I too smile when wearing the hat.

Your vegetation grows some great hats!;)

Thanks sir. Mosquitoes, ticks are what immediately come to immediately to mind to many of my relatives and I am glad that hats join the image.

Sir, the vintage color is sadly vintage. Blue smoke (Fawcett available) or blue (Fawcett and Gannon available) are excellent color shade close choices. Check out the many pics on the two threads of the blue shades. I recently picked-up a Winchester blue and have found it very easy to reach for and pair with attire. A better option of a match - Esther Weiss. I have seen pics of Esther Weiss's felt options and have seen a new variety of hat felt colors. A close match might require checking with our Antwerp milliner.

Thanks for the likes. Continuing to enjoy the blue morning, although now my blue shirt has a small stain from eating some cherries. Soaked the stain and am confident it will easily come out. Seriousely, I have only had the shirt on my back for a few hours - jeepers.

Evidently a novice eater. Best, Eric

It's cooler here today as well. What did you ever decide to do with the Nutria?

Jack, I haven't done anything new with it lately. This is how it sits today. I've decided to stay with the ribbon and bow instead of a band. Still undecided on the shape. I've changed it so many times I decided to leave it alone until it cools enough to wear it.

Lot of nice looking lids today. I especially like the collection of thin ribbons. Wearing my Stagecoach conversion again. Only this time it has a ribbon. I had to rob another hat for the ribbon to put on this one. I went with a mid ribbon...coffee in hand. I'll have more in the conversion corral.
