What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

There was a movie called The Third Man. Well, this is The Third Hat... the 3rd hat I've tried on this morning. It was only 65 when I left the house for a candy run, something that was necessary prior to taking LilFed to the drop-off at church for their Especially For Youth conference that takes place over the next 3 days. But the 62% humidity was sticky and thick... I tried on a new Cuenca semi-calado. Not quite right. The Worsmer Milan. Better, but not quite. Ah, the NW Hats Silverbelly with Old Copper ribbon. Perfect.

LilFed is sporting her Dobbs Milan. Perfect for her 3 day trip.

Wow! Wish I could pull off this look. Just not a western type of person (even though I live in the west).

The first outing at an official OSU 150th Anniversary event for the Slats Playboy clone! Wore it to the meeting an tossed it on the conference table. High power OSU people (Provost for marketing) and the Exhibit firm representatives. No one said a word, but I watched their eyes from time to time. It was noticed in a big way.

I almost have the Slats curl down on the brim. A jaunty pinch over the right eye was also a feature. More steam to come.

I think you have it down, friend! That hat is ALL THAT, and a bag of chips! What a fabulous hat and a tribute to Slats himself!

Is the brim treatment a single line of stitching? Hard to see on my monitor.

I have a Stagecoach with a similar height crown too, though it is dented differently,

Dude, you just gettin' old. Ha ha. But yes, I have noticed that. And now that you mention it, a couple of times was at Walmart. I think there may be other factors involved as well.
