Coffee on the porch and catching up on this thread on my day off. Been enjoying all the fine straws and felts, the rasslin' (that's how you say it down here) memories, the wildlife photography, the new necklace (Looks great with the hat as is) and the travel shots.

Shout out to Bob Hufford for that most excellent fishing hat. It's barely 9:00 in the morning here and I'm ready for a beer. Style!

Also to Knotten. Looks like an awesome trip. Enjoy and stay safe. Post lots of photos when you can.

I'm working out the new to me Stetson stingy brim this morning.

I am with Dh 66 nearly 10:00am cst here and time for a beer.

It is hot and humid. Hot and humid are not words that are frequently used in Minnesota weather decriptions. It is already low 80's and 65% humidity. Jeepers! Expectations of mid 90's and humid by late afternoon.

Yard work yesterday. Yes I wore a ball cap as the thing was soaked when I finished. I was soaked and I jumped into the lake to cool off.

Dog walk completed and I am ready to wax an auto before it really gets hot. Wearing my hardware store hat. Practical hat. First things first - a Guinness Stout to ready me for the effort.

Sated and ready for some auto detailing, Eric -

Not only is this a beautiful and pristine OR 25, this crease is perfect. I don't feel right in a full cattleman's crease, but this creation makes me want an OR even more. Love this to the max!

thanks Mike
these old ORs are special
this one has some amazing dimensions and that crease just sort of fell into it so I listen to what she tells me

I seem to have misplaced a number of my straw hats from last year. Wonder where I hid them?

Have a good weekend,
Michael

I wouldn't mind a thunderstorm here. Hope the new job is going well.

I think it had become bored with chucking wood and was scoping the garden for delicacies.

This is probably one of my favorite straws of the season. Love a homburg, love a blue hat, love milan weave, you got it all going for you my friend!

It is a warm and sunny day here, so I'm wearing my vintage English Olney Panama Hat. The brim has long ago given up the ghost, giving it a slightly 'Popeye' Doyle look!

Welcome to the Fray! That is a classy straw. Color detail shots would be really wonderful, such as interior, sweat and detail of the straw weave. This shot could be right out of 1961, cool!

Nice parade my friend! I really love that Cuenca derby, are they still on the market...covet!

Thanks! Not sure they were ever exactly on the market, but I just called and asked them if they could do it with their cheapest straw. It might have been my very first custom hat, or very close to it.
