Windy and cold morning. I thought I would preview my fall suit before I took it to the cleaners and stored it for the summer. Turns out it's completely appropriate, temperaturewise at least. Resistol Norm Thompsom Shikari Hat

Crisp looking Resistol. Very nice condition. And a sea of red plaid, cool.

Thanks Red. Yes, this hat was in mint condition when I got it except for fading/smearing of the gold writing under the tip cover. The red plaid is Woolrich from the 1960s. They still make the exact same coat, but I don't think they make the pants with the lacing bottoms these days.

Dang, great outfit Michael. You look like a Midwest woodsman. Where did you get those lacer boots?
Thanks Perry. The boots are Sears Wearmasters made sometime between 1940 and the 60s. The hat was made from around 1955 til maybe the 70s. Some of the early ones had a real leopard skin band.
