Fantastic felt color, set off beautifully by the ribbon color. Would you call the felt a dark cherry? Eggplant? Oxblood? (Photos can be deceiving.) Great job on the rebash!

After a week of wind and rain, today was glorious sunshine, a bit chilly, but not too cold that I couldn't put on a blazer and team it with one of Belgium's finest milliner's creation.

Thanks Doug. The Dobbs is a bit shorter in crown than I would like, but generally an okay hat I guess. In better condition than many of my hats.

Things changed up for us today. I wore other clothes and MrsFed agrees, the Everyman in granite just plain goes better with all the competing colors. Here we are hamming it up before our table was ready at the Cheesecake Factory restaurant.

Do you know, I had completely forgotten about The Gannon Hat Co. But a hat, for an MG driver, as in MGG. Priceless.
What a fabulous titfer, I have been on the lookout for something similar. She's working on a pair of new pants for me, that titfer of your's is the perfect foil.
The trousers are currently a work in progress, but:

What a good looking couple you two are. I love your Missus' fascinator and her wide lapelled coat. The beaver sets off your outfit perfectly. And the white tie, a fellow becomes a gentleman (standby for mockery,) in a white tie. Compliments to you both.
Did you call a cab? I used to find London cabbies always saw you when you're impeccably turned out, they would then shower you with compliments the whole journey. Their ploy always worked, their tip was much more than necessary.

We're off to a vintage fair, more damage to my wealth, it's a mixed bag of weather, so the leather is for the cold wind, the hat in case it rains and the shirt is in case the sun comes out in defiance, you never know.

Tonight we are of to a 1920's/30's dance with a band called The Red Fez Orchestra. I might wear a white tie. Dlaniger has inspired me. I'll post a photo later, no 'gentleman' gags thank you.
