That look on your face is appropriate, Harv. You look like you are on the prowl, just like an alley cat. Enjoy.

Joao – Joaoesque as always. Great ribbon on your Stagecoach..

Esther – Love the nap on that long hair felt.

g.durand – Wow. That is one gorgeous hat.

Strapped – Love that conversion. Looking very Indiana Jones.

MM – With that hat, you may take liberties.

Dlaniger – Beautiful gray color. Nice.

RJR – Looking equally Indiana Jones.

Jeremiah – LOVE those Emersons. They are such nice hats.

BobHufford – WOW. Love the brim curl.

Daniele – Quel cappello ti fa bene. Il colore, la misura perfetta. Quel colore e’ il mio preferito per un cappello. Bello.

MichaelA – That will keep you toasty warm.

1Mach – DANG. That is one gorgeous hat. Beautiful colors. Alley Kat hat?

Haven't stepped outside yet today. Working indoors. Enjoy the holiday everyone.

Happy Veterans Day! Great hats all around! What am I wearing? You guessed it, the Whippet again LOL I tipped the photo to give it a different feel LOL I don't think it's working. I think I need another hat :D I don't want to wear this beauty down

BTW the last rain fall we had helped tighten up the pinch and straightened up the brim on the bow side. I like!

Recognizing Veteran's and Armistice Day under an old Stetson Vita-Felt Stetsonian that may very well have been put together when so many great men and women were serving in WWII. Many thanks to all veterans and to Rick who was kind enough to direct this hat my way.

I kind of overloaded on similar angled shots 'cause I liked the way the different lighting plays on the hat. I hope that no one is enraged by my taking that liberty. ;)

Be well... Be kind... Have fun!
Thanks to all my fellow veterans who served. Great hat very fitting today. Yes, the light does make it come alive...love it!

I think I'll keep the pin with the hat. While I'm not a huge western fan I do like this Stagecoach quite a lot.

Thank you sir. I'm a big fan of tweed. And certainly an admirer of your style and elan.

I'm sticking with the tweed today as it's cold and windy and I just want to. A Kevin McAndrew of quite a different nature than the one Harv was sporting the other day. Donegal tweed trilby.

The predicted high of 55 with 14 mph north wind will make for a cool bike ride today. If I can talk myself into getting out.

I'm hoping the heavy sweater and Orvis shooting jacket in Harris Tweed will keep me warm.

Some mighty fine hats showing up here again today.

Michael

Excellent hat jacket combo. Been eyeballing an Orvis tweed myself lately but with temps hitting the '90's in San Diego it's rather hard to justify haha.

Man. You miss a day, and can spend three catching up! There simply are so many great lids being sported around the globe!

I've really enjoyed those rolled brims, Bob Hufford, Bob Roberts, and Michael!

Last two days, different black smallish westerns with the same peyote stitched beaded hatband. One Stetson black OR, and the other a limpia creek I picked up from eBay awhile back.

Some stunning hat choices out there today and yesterday. And good to see some old faces in the mix again. Many thanks for the notes on yesterday's Tom N Jerry. Someone asked, though I can't find the message, on the age. It is from somewhere in the post war 1940s.

Today an Anton Peschel velour customized for Oviatt's of Los Angeles. I have owned two Peschel velours, twenty plus years between them and remarkably similar. So soft as to be form challenged - the shape has to be touched up each time it goes back on. In this way, quite different than the Borsalino and Hückel velours recently shared. The latter are much firmer to the hand. Despite the softness, though, the Oviatt's hat is incredibly lush velvet felt. Photos don't do it justice - you'll have to take my word for it. ;^)
