Thanks Esther... it's a lovely piece of felt.
Very NICE Eric! I'm starting feel the need for a Stratoliner!Early morning in a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner. I am looking forward to my first cup of coffee .
Best, Eric -
AEnjoying the afternoon while wearing a vtg. Stephan Stetson fedora. The larger brim is perfect on a cool Fall afternoon
I hope my post finds that you have enjoyed the afternoon. Best, Eric - .

Oh man!!!!!!!!! SWEET collection!Boy do I feel the need.
Careful "need" can easily head you down the road. It can easily lead to obsession.
Often over the top, Eric -
Inquiring minds want to know your plans for it: just for display at home, put it in storage, donate to a museum, having the sweat redone (I know that may be sacrilegious and apologize to those who know better than I), or ?????last night in my 1890s topper-- sweatband starting to go...
The other night I came home in my still-not-quite-right brown Christy. I put the hat jack back into it, put on my twill FDR from Duluth Trading, walked back into the kitchen.Around the house I wear the LL Bean/Stetson Moose River hat or the grey Champ...
Reminds me of the looks I got when I said I was getting a dark/muted red ribbon on a steel gray felt. Now I'm trying to think of a new color combination since I'm not a fan of like-on-like.Thanks, Red! Did the ribbon myself. I liked the blue better than the brown one that was on it. I have come to appreciate the brown on gray combo now, but the blue has grown on me to the point that the hat looks wrong without it.
so far!Sorry guys it's my only hat
so far!
Best of luck, unless you're a 7 5/8!I'm already searching the Bay for a vintage Open Road or Stratoliner
