My cold really kicked in and I feel like garbage as I head out to try to act like an adult. But nobody will notice because I look relatively knice due to this custom edge Knox Twenty that was passed on to me by Moon. View attachment 43050

very difficult question to answer ... it is a greenish /brownish/ gray

truly depends on what light it is in

it looks much lighter in the first two pics than it really is... the picture of the liner shows a more true color where it shows the underside of the brim

Love this hat rclark! I have one similar but without the wind trolly

I think a lot of men used to clip off the wind trolley back in the day. I have a couple of similar Borsalinos that I purchased that actually came with the wind trolley that had been cut off many years ago

As promised

I tend to think of these Twenty hats as being premium hats with their felted edge and all the bells and whistles, yet neither of ours has a wind cord? Most of my Twenty's do. I know Alan has pointed out that these things do get cut off sometimes

p.s. Harv, I like your "brim up" better

Gorgeous, Tommy! That ribbon is a lovely red in the sun. Yeah, I think maybe the cord was cut off, but I see no evidence that one was ever there. I agree with you on those Dobbs Twenty hats. They are fantastic. That said, the Fifteens are no slouch either.

Marvelous show on the Lounge today. Fitting for Daniele's birthday.

The USPS just made it a two hat day for me. Rolled the dice and got this Crofut & Knapp homburg. Looks like it has never been worn. View attachment 43074 It's a bit tight, hopefully some gentle time with the hat stretcher will fix that. This hat is begging to be part of my regular rotation.

It always seems these un-definable colors get lumped under the "taupe" umbrella

Cane blocked the crown to 6" which is enough for this beautiful diamond and still keep it tall! Can't say enough about how nice this hat is.
