Bob Roberts and Mikespens, love your sense of style.

Perry, that aloha with palm trees. One of my faves of your shirts!

Me - biz casual plus headwear! J.C. Penney "Men's and Boys Wear."

Alan: Super Borso! I love that ribbon
Bob: I actually wore my Latte yesterday, nice little stingy
Richard: watch out, Joao might take that one from you!
Charlie: Nice lid, VS I assume?

This unlined 50's Playboy just got dropped off. Grey with a sage-ish colored band. It's elegantly disheveled in a Johnny Depp sort of way.

Thx jlee. Looks alot better on you than Depps!

That Playboy is fantastic !!!!

Ok.... I've done the unthinkable... I eliminated the "Raiders turn" on the Penman. :eeek::eeek:
and I actually love it .... Been wearing it all day ... First I wore it open crown for a while ... Then gave it a classic center crease bash.... Loving it

That looks good and I personally don't like the xtremely tight "Raiders" pinch. Lookin like a backbone or spinal column type seam, runnin down the front of the crown.

S4C. That's s great Heisenberg outfit, watch out for The DEA.

Mark, with that porkpie, it's a totally different look. I had to look 3-4 times to recognize you!!

Mark, I had to look twice like Greg said. But I like it!

What? You got attitude...? Looks good!

Thanks, everyone. Just dragged myself away from the festivities and allowing myself to sit for a while. My step counter shows over 19,000 steps so far today, and I normally log about 4,500. My legs are NOT going to like me tomorrow!

All of the hats on today's parade have been stellar, and I wish I had the time to comment on each by name. Family time is calling, though.

I'll be popping in and out over the Labor Day weekend, but will be insanely busy so I doubt I'll post any pics. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

After lunch this Stetson that made me change opinion on brown hats.

Today after seeing someone here with a long hair and I was missing mine, this Resistol Panda
20150903.jpg

After lunch one of my stingy brims, this Stetson Nutria (3 1/4" brim. Wish it had more brim... I would wear it more, nice felt.)

Joao, that Panda looks soft enough to sleep in.

Moon, I love that shade of brown on the Penman, I like the new bash, but it looks good as an open crown too.

Jlee. That playboy looks great on you, I like that sage ribbon contrasted with the grey.

Oh, Moon - I like your Penman with the new crease.

I'm not a big fan of the sharp Raiders crease, my Penman & Adventurebilt are the Indy 4 style, more like your new version.

Everyone looks great. I'm definitely envious of all the fine lids. jlee, love the Playboy. That hat has loads of character.

I've always thought of getting an Indy Raider's but wasn't sure how one would look on me. With a little help from some photo magic I can see how it would look before I decided to buy one. Hmmmm.....don't know. It definitely doesn't go well with the Hawaiian shirt.

Probably not a bad idea to try something like this before making a hat purchase. This way anyone can see how they would look in a particular hat style before they bought it.

Hatless this morning, but picking up my "new" to me 1960s vintage Stockman western in "sorrel" [brown for the rest of the world] from a cleaning at Paris Hatters. It's not so-marked, but the hat was clearly made by Resistol under the Stockman label [Miller's?] - appears to be unworn, but too dusty for me to clean. It's probably too hot for a felt, but I'm not waiting!

Currently also hatless as I sit here admiring everybody's lids. A big +5 or whatever on the Playboy, jlee. Hat has attitude and you wear it well. Moon, way to go on the new bash. S4C, you can always send photos of interesting headgear worn by those at the Con. That could make for some fun posts!

Will be heading out to the Mid-Ohio Antique Mall with my lovely bride today. Wish me luck!
