Terry;
It will be shipped brim snapped up as a LBJ hat. it will take some steam on the top to make it snap down if you want the Jimmy Steward look
Lately i've been ordered from Sam at EA
Look at Moon's pics he does a great job in creasing them

Thanks buddy. I think I'm convinced on getting one. I have a fedora snap brim flange that'll work perfect for changing it to that Jimmy Stewart look.

Same fedora snap brim flange that I used to change this Bradford OR clone...

I started with this Forth Worth Resistol BR 20.

But because it does not provide the shade I want, I had to switch to this Stetson Tom Mix

Later went to the beach with some friends. Took the Resistol Diamond HorseShoe with me.

I think I'm convinced on getting one. I'm considering the BGG. Everyone seems to like that color really well. Is the brim more like the Open Road brim, then?
At one time Akubra made the Open Road hats for Stetson. After that ended, Akubra continued making them but changed the name, so the Open Road and the Campdraft are essentially the same hat. By the way, the brim is closer to 2-7/8", not that it makes much difference. I received my Bluegrass Green Campdraft this past Friday, so I now have three of them (the others are Silverbelly and Taupe Fawn). If you like the Open Road you'll probably like the Campdraft, and with Akubra's reputation for durability and their very reasonable price, you really can't go wrong.

Richard, Zombie, You guys have me convinced. I'm going to pull the trigger for a Campdraft. Not sure which color to start with, though. I imagine the BGG is fairly versatile?

Fruno, Dayton was actually going to be my first guess. My wife has family in both Fairborn and in Dayton.

hatguy, the spoiled little pup's name is, Buffy. She's a Poodle / Lhasa Apso mix. More Poodle looking, with Poodle intelligence and with Lhasa Apso stubbornness. She knows how to train humans.

Joao, is that you wearing that fine looking stingy brim Fort Worth, Resistol?

Great showing yesterday, as well, guys. Thanks for sharing those photos, Chamuco, excellent display of colors. Alan, that photo of you and your father is charming, and I dig your sun moon stars shirt.

I'm wearing my newly acquired Richeleu Milan for a sunny Monday in the Ohio Valley.

Terry, we'll have to meet up in Columbus sometime for lunch or a cuppa. I get over there on business a few times a month, as my employer's home office is located in Columbus.

Yes, we got the first round for the child league, below 15 years, so mostly only the relatives and friends of the first 3 teams, but 90 minutes after I send the pics it was full.

Just left 20 min ago, the girls over 15 were performing and it was full.

Big tradition here
