Great looking cap and total look overall Richard. I really like the boots.

Outstanding bunch of straws today as well G.D. hatsRme, Ingineer, DJH, Mrs.Gear-Guy, and any I may have missed.

I've been out of the loop for awhile, but I'll join the sweltering summer fun with this vintage no-name western model.

You guys are killing it again today!! :eusa_clap

Thanks for the comments on the old soft homburg. It does that lived-in look all by itself.

After Breakfast event hommie and bow tie came off and Panama Bob went on to follow play. Last several holes had a golf umbrella over the Panama Bob. :eek:hwell:

Elias - is that the milan Stratoliner?

Stupid system dumped my response. Grrr

Yes, its the milan strat in grey, I'm growing fond of it. I realized it would feel different from my straw due to the materials used, I think for its price I will be less worried about it getting dirty or bashed around unlike my straw. My straw being white shows dirt smudges or maybe they are soybean ink smudges, plus the wide black band shows sweat marks, I'm a hothead, heh.

I took my folks out for Mothers day brunch, young lady was the hostess & told me on the way out my suit was great but the hat was the bomb. I was wearing a shale grey vest (waistcoat) & trousers, with a darker purple stripe shirt, cordovan shoes & the hat. I was happy 8)

Heres a better pic from today...

And yes, I'm thinking of getting rid of my wraparound sunglasses after 20 yrs of wearing them for aviator style sunglasses since the wraparounds are not easy to get as script as the aviators will be. I started wearing them in the army & were called gargoyles, the makers had a working agreement with the army so it was good.
So after I make sure my script hasnt changed I hope to have them by mid june, I think they'll look a bit better with the hats than the wraps.

Wearing another inherited hat from my Dad that I bought for him in June 2011 at the Batsakes Hat Store in Cincinnati (my company sends me there every June for two weeks). Unfortunately, he had only one summer to enjoy it.

It is a beaut -- a Stetson Genuine Shantung Panama fedora. Has a 5 in. crown and a 2 3/4 in. brim. Hat band is black and 1 1/2 inches wide. Small spray of feathers on the left hand side.

It is such a warm and sunny day, it felt just right for its inaugural jaunt to work.

This 20x beaver brand.

Then changed to this new arrival, a Stetson 5X without a size tag... that feels like a 7 1/8. I think I can wear this but without wind.

Great hats all weekend gents.

Mystic – that is a very stylish combination of homburg and bow tie.

Dave – Way cool. It looks much better on the head than in the hand.

Andy – Love that color.

Hato – Great Borso. Nice crown on that one.

Casechopper – You wear that Akubra well. Looks great!

Joao – Must be getting warm there because you’ve pulled out the light colored hats. Looks good! (Can you stretch the 7 1/8th?)

Retro – That is a jaunty slant you have on your hats. Bravo.
