Thanks Alan, Richard, JoAo And HatophiI wasn't sure I could pull off the look with Derby.
the Homburg looks great on you Alan but then you wear many styles well
You look like a WINNER under that beautiful Hommy, CCJ!
David a GORGEOUS mid-width ribbon look today, sir!
I was thinking it was WAR Wednesday, so I tried this pug on my VS MILAN. The pug came on a vintage Panama I snagged over the winter... It's temporary, Art!
Alan- great homburg and superb buckle.
Richard - my Tawny Fed IV is my favorite of the ones I own. Just a very versatile color.
Charlie - stunning VS Milan. The weather here in Cleveland won't be ready for anything like that for at least a month.
I don't mind the rain today. Just put down some fertilizer - will do the grass good. But I won't be surprised if it rains for a whole week here, either.
Dave, very nice 25, what color, looks grayish in your photo?
Great VS Charlie, break out the MaiTais.
Looking good in the CD Andy. I put out some Preen yesterday, so rain is good today, supposedly nice tomorrow.
Nice looking Lee Bruno, another nice tie, too.
OR today
I must wait for Thursday morning, at least, to start the maitais Perry... great suggestion! Super OR today, sir; judiciously accented by a STELLAR tie!
Andy thanks! You WILL be wearing a straw before June.
MiamiB, the Lee is So great! Would you be so kind as to post a pic of the top of your Cavanaugh from yesterday?
Joao, I can see why you like that brownie. Spectacular brim flange too.
Alan, the Barbisio homburg is astounding! A work of art in its amazingly balanced proportions.
Javier, cool Dobbs. Parker added some real wonderfulness with that ribbon job.
Richard, I've said it before-- the tawny Fed looks like Akubra designed it for you!
CCJ, classy homburg.
HRMe, great pug on that great Milan. Man, the straw on that is really beautiful.
David, nice 25! Yesterday's new Tumwater was pretty darned sweet too.
Andy, can't go wrong with the CD!
MiamiB, nice blue label. Lees are underrated in my opinion.
Perry, the OR looks great! How did you get the brim to have such a perfect shape? It sits just right!
Thanks for comments on the OR. Jeff, what I do is dampen the brim with distilled water and using my fingers roll the brim at the edges. As it dries, I smooth out the edges at the base of the binding, so I end up with a Pencil Roll effect. You could use a pencil too, I guess.
Today I am wearing a Borsalino Film that I inherited from my Dad. It's a bit big for me style-wise although it fits me well. Its crown, about 5 1/2 inches, is a tad high for me the the brim is quite wide. It's black, my Dad's favoite hat color.
My wife thinks it makes me look like "an old Jewish man," and even one of my colleagues at work called me "rabbi" before I could even ask him what he thought of my new look. Oy vey! What tsuris!
