I made time for lunch today. I changed into "street clothes" from my coaches costume and doned by VS sahara for the occasion. My post finds me back in gym shorts, shirt and sneakers.

Eric, the dove just glows, and the Sahara really warms up the belly like a good whiskey in the approaching winter!
David, I'll echo the chorus. The dark moss vs is sublime.
Perry, this is a very classy looking rich brown borso. Nice!
Sam, both nice selections.
Andy, the cap looks great!
Charlie, you wear hats with such a devil May care panache. Nice brown one today!
Richard, the panizza is sharp as a tack.
T Jones, nice indeed!
Jhe, neat pattern on that cap.
Mmbarnes, that is a sweet Dobbs!
Other hats and caps looking really fantastic today!

I was wearing my falcon park black cherry earlier, but now this Hanna hats cap. I'm not really a cap wearer but have somehow wanted one of these for awhile and picked up a nice patchwork one downtown today. I think I can get used to it. It's super soft and comfortable. Thoughts?

That one is PERFECT, Jeff... a Goldilocks-sized cap for you; not too big, not too small. Juuussst RIGHT!

Eric you do look a bit fatigued, sir. But that just shows dedication. I LOVE that sahara lid.

Mr. Barnes your hat today is, as always, a great choice!

TJones you always ROCK those Open Roads, man!

Mr. 888 your cap's where it's AT today. Lookin' good!

Richard, your Panizza President's Precious, Pal. And, I'm still thinking about yesterday's Fed IV. TWO winners!

Perry every day your hats are spectacular... but that Borso is MORE so!

Thank you guys for the comments on the VS.

The Dark Moss (this is Art's lightweight version) is just really nice felt - close to the quality of some of my vintage hats.

Some great hats posted today, always enjoyable to browse this thread.

My wife thinks plaid and paisley pair well with polka-dotted stripes, so long as there are sufficient colors to blur the eyes. I'll have her get in touch to guide you...

Jeff - the cap looks good on you. Great choice.

Joao - Looks perfect for that sunshine (got any sun to share?).

Charlie - lucky guess :)

Thanks all for the comments on the Panizza - I wish RMR had more in a 61 with a medium brim

No pics to post. My exposure to daylight and the time to take a hat photo is limited during the week, so I'll just say well done today everyone. Just amazing. (I am wearing a hat every day, though, believe me. :))

Good morning, COURTNEY! Looking good today.

Very distinguished Rodkins! Does the lightweight felt ever seem heavy in the Florida climate? My bro's in St. Pete, and I've mentioned that option to him in the past...

Good chilly morning from Central Ohio Gents! What a nice start to the day with these classy lids!

Bowlerman, That is one fine cap! You definitely scored big with this one! It's your look! Your Bowlers and Hombourgs are nice, but I think you're better suited to the caps (IMHO). That cap looks really awesome on you!
Eric, Very nice VS! You wear it well my friend!
Joao Encarnado, Now I can make an exception for a Black hat when it's a Western! Nice one my friend!
DJH, Man! I love that Courtney! Very nice!
Rodkins, Love the combo! The VS Pecan tops it off nicely!

On this chilly morning I thought I'd sport this Western Straw a bit before I pack it away for the Winter! This one I played around with a few weeks ago and tried my hand at reshaping a straw. This old cheapie was crushed up pretty bad, so I soaked it under the kitchen faucet and re-stretched it over a paint can for less taper in the crown. I creased it with a tight pinch and put a leather band around it, and viola!

The lightweight felt is perfect for the Florida climate. I usually do wear a panama during the middle of summer but I love my lightweight felts and wear them more than any of my other hats.
