Not to requote the three photos yet again... it looks very much like a later era hat made in Australia for Stetson under license that is for sale on eBay.
Would that have been Akubra who was licensed to make the Open Roads for Stetson? I thought I read somewhere that it was. Hence, the Campdraft when Stetson dropped the OR line...

A relative heat wave this morning, 30'F, allowed me to spend a bunch of time outside. Early morning saw a dog walk with a 50's vtg. Ststeson Whippet. Appropriate for a dog walk. Our working dogs are not sight hounds, but they are dogs! I had oodles of yard work to complete and I put my Stormy Kromer to good work.

David - great start to the day, lovely colour. Give it 'til Christmas - they always look their best after a couple of months :) Congratulations for getting involved any way!

Andy - that's a beautiful Tumwater, and a great shade of blue.

Looks great Perry!

Sam - I'm always amazed at how good that Campdraft conversion looks.

Alan - Great cap.

Eric - Lovely Whippet

Rodkins - beat up or not it looks good

Cold but bright today. Kendall Milne department store special (probably late 50's) - still no luck in finding the maker, but it's got the nicest felt of any of my hats:

Alan & Jeff, Thanks!

David, I really like the ribbon on your BSHW in Eggplant. Overall super!

Andy, Great looking blue Tumwater!

Perry, Your No. 1 Quality Stetson looks super! Also really like the string tie!

Sam, The Aukbra CD really looks nice with the wide ribbon with box bow!

Alan, Your Harold cap is fantastic! I really like the fabric design and wears great too!

Eric, That is cold in my neck of the woods! :) Super 50s Stetson Whippet and Stormy Kromer!

Mike, Great to see an old Tonak! Even with the heavy wear it still holds form!

Richard, I can see what you mean about the felt (color, finish, hand) on Kendall Milne store model! Great bow color too!

dh66, Sorry about the weather but your wool cap is a winner!

Jeff, Always make me happy to see a Homburg! I really like the form (small but squarish) of your Resistol! It reminds me of the gray Mayser Homburg I wore a few days ago.

David - very nice color. Haven't seen eggplant before. I like it. Very versatile warm color. Nice ribbon work too.
Tumwater midnite blue.

Thanks, Andy. Bob Jesse can do custom dye jobs so you are not limited to the usual Winchester colours.
I like your Tummy today.

Super starts Andy and David!

Thanks Hatto - the Stetson is indeed #1!

Sam, I always like to see the wide ribbon CDs. I think they look better than the original thin ribbons. (checking that Rusty's not listening in!)

Alan - very cool cap

Eric - good looking Whippet. We wer about 20F this morning, getting down to your kind of temps.

Mike, the Tonak looks great - you're making us jealous with the warm weather, of course!

David - great start to the day, lovely colour. Give it 'til Christmas - they always look their best after a couple of months :) Congratulations for getting involved any way!

Thanks, Richard. I might give it a little more time. Some friends in another Movember team are going to keep going (and collecting $$) till Christmas. A month isn't really enough to do anything too creative. Nice Kendall Miln store hat - I don't remember that store.

David, I really like the ribbon on your BSHW in Eggplant. Overall super!

Thanks, Steve. Bob makes some very nice hats. You seem to have a limitless supply of great velour hats. That one looks fantastic!

DH - cold down your way too, hey? Nice cap.

Jeff, you pull off the Hommie look nicely.
