Thanks, Mike... not yet. I have a few old unworn unreeded Resistol sweatbands that came in a box with a vintage hat. I took one and sized it to this hat, taped the rear seam and placed a ring of two sided adhesive tape to hold it in place. I will have a new sweat installed down the road.

Good morning. Early morning flight back to Minnesota gives me the opportunity to enjoy the out of doors. Dog walk thru the woods and by the lake has provided energy to that deep place within me that needs recharging periodically. Warm 25'F morning with snow coming later. Fleece and a hat have been very comfortable. I am enjoying being hatted in a VS Wanderer in silverbelly.

Thank you. The ribbon is perfectly fitted, no visible stitches, very fine gros grain with slight fading and excellent color match--either similar vintage installed well beyond the sweat/renovation quality or original(perhaps better).

Back from the grocery store with ingredients for mushroom and oyster soup. Guests should arrive in 3 hours and the soup and roasted lamb will be ready. Shopping required a different fedora. I selected a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner in cadet blue.

My Stormy Kromer cap is handling stormy duties this evening.

Guests arriving - need to shovel walks and entrances. Shoveling should be the last chore. Fireplaces lit, pre-dinner snacks, and beverages ready. Dinner at the ready and table settings complete. I need to complete shoveling, change clothes and work at being a pleasant host.
