I swear that granite has a subtle green in it. It's just awesome, Eric. Really pings with you!
Alan, I think those turquoise bands look fantastic on just about any western. There are certainly some impressive ones out there. I'll be looking forward to seeing yours!
The nutria is amazing-- did you post color pics somewhere?
adding this pic for Grizzly Adams of the interior of the Clearwater derby:
That squatter looks great casechopper. To what dim. did you trim it down to and by what means? I have the DM squatter and just love it. Whenever I see photos like yours, I start thinking about trimming it down.
Hi Mando,
I didn't actually do the trim. I bought this hat from gtdean here on the forum who purchased it from someone else who did the trimming. I don't have the hat in front of me to measure but Mr. Dean's measurements when I purchased it were 2 1/2" sides and 2 5/8" front and back.
Thanks,
Sam
I've got to wake up pretty early in the morning to beat David to the punch! Nice Penman!! The stitching really stands out.
I'm wearing my navy Robley again. This time I've "ironed" out the details and the front of the brim now sit a lot flatter. Thursday casual: blue-grey un-tucked button up and jeans. I'm REALLY loving this hat!
