You see, small brims can be nice too......
Cool hat!!
Ha!
Thanks Sergej, but it can’t compete with that wonderful Weis!
This beautiful little Mallory probably won’t make it out on the town today, but I was just feeling it for some tea on the deck this morning.
A good mushroom hunt this morning. Now relaxing under this 5X Beaver Resistol Cascade

And debating whether I have the energy to go downtown for a bit this evening.

Just enough. The hat, the paisley shirt, cuffed bell bottoms and the platform Martins, I give Michael; how many mushrooms did you eat?
Anybody could do it. I turned on the news while I was deciding what to do tonight and it turns out it was the downtown block party. 30,000 crazy folk. Fit right in.No one else could pull off that ensemble! I dig it all, but that hat gets the maximum groovy points.

Great hat, Steve! Used to have one of those in grey; lovely quality.Hut-Seidl München "Garant" made by Mayser possibly mid 1950s.

Thanks, Michael. The Knox is growing on me, but it has to deal with severe competition. Thanks Stefan. I think this is a relatively old hat. Maybe 1940s
Thanks, it's one of my favorites. Early 1950s, I think, by my label interpretation.
Love that Knox. Gets better every time you wear it.
Thanks,
Michael
Can't say I've heard of that brand before, Jim. But it looks good to me.Barclay

It's both a shock and a relief to see one of your hats that's not in supreme condition. You're not a wizard after allA panama weave boater that took a nasty fall some years back on my watch. Battle scars are part of life.
Excellent, Michael. The hat goes very well with that jacket and vest.Still dripping a bit here this morning, but will supposedly end soon. Haven't had this old 3X Open Road out of the box for awhile

They do matter and this one matters a whole lot. Superb hat, Eric.Early morning meeting found me wearing an inky blue vtg. Stetson Royal DeLuxe St.Regis homburg. I "casualed-up" the hat by putting some side-dents in the crown. The felt is grand and takes whatever detailed dent I would like to choose.
This hat is eye catching in its inky blue hues. As you can tell from my pics below it is hard to capture the hue. The under-brim shot is the most accurate.
I have learned that blue hats matter. Best, Eric -
