My favorite hat:
Here's a look at the ribbon:

Torpedo said:Earth colours again... I wore a heavy woolen herringbone tweed-like jacket; this one has the unusual feature of being DB, but having notched lapels. I am not specially crazy about this, but neither do I despise it. I chose as a complement a woolen bowtie, because of its texture and pattern, that I felt like went well with the jacket's somewhat rustic and coarse texture.
I topped the whole with a sage green Dobbs 15.
The hat in detail. It has one of those bows with a twisted ribbon knot.

Then for going into the city I took the opportunity to give the new Akubra "Ranchero" it's first day out
(will post more pics in the new hats thread)...
I am really liking this new hat, I can see it getting a lot of wear

By all means try a CampDraft, its a perfect 'country' hat that goes to town anytime you need it to.Scott Wood said:.... so I'm gonna have to hammer down perhaps a campdraft, ....
Looking good Rusty. Good brim width on that one!... :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clapRBH said:As promised for today... my Stetson Stratoliner.

Going to visit Nicki's family on the weekend and we owe a couple of murals to the niece and nephew. Here I am planning out a SpiderMan at about 4' x 4' on PVC:
And here it is after I primed it and jigged it out and got a quick coat of color on for starters. I'll finish it tomorrow and mount it on location Sunday. It's going to stand off the wall about an inch.
