I would concur that autumn can be the most breathtaking time of year in New England. My personal favorite time/place is in northern New England, around the last week of September, or the first week in October. The northeastern corner of Vermont bills itself as "The Maple Center of the World," and during foliage season there's no mistake!
Those dates are absolutely perfect. We shall be at The Goodwood Revival on the weekend of the 6th/7th & 8th of September, the following weekend my brother's daughter is getting married and the weekend after that we should be Stateside. Curious thing, I was checking flights and prices and so on last night, it works out much cheaper if we fly out from Gatwick on one airline, and back to Heathrow on a different one, crazy!

Thanks red, I've been wearing a Wooley hat all winter, needed to cover my ears as my left ear was damaged and rebuilt last spring and although i don't think titanium rusts it doesn't like the cold and damp. Infections. It only became spring right about today. Hat time. These new long winters are killing me softly. Jeeze we were making snowmen only a couple of weeks back, in march, unheard of in Dublin. Hope you are well.
Sorry to hear about the ear troubles. Hope you are doing well now. We are doing pretty good over here.

Love the shape of the crown on this old derby. Disturbing image, but somehow quite appropriate for such an old piece.

Mike, thanks.

My staff and I are disturbed that we may have disturbed you by posting what you consider to be a disturbing image.

Please accept this non-disturbing image as an apology. It is our hope that it will de-sturb you rather than disturb you.

Enjoy.
