I know the kind. I've added the Montana to my search list.It is called clay, and that's what it reminds me of. The red Oklahoma kind,
Thank you Bb!Everything Jack said. I love that hat.
Thanks Chuck.Love that Stetsonian.Hope you have a fun day also.
Thanks Jack.Nice one, Matt! Looks great with that sport coat.
Thanks Jim. May your bucket be filled with one soon.Already off to a Tuesdillyicious hat day.
@Short Balding Guy, I never got the Mugsy connection either. Always loved the toons with him in it. Just watch out for that rabbit and stay out of the oven!
@fabiovenhorst, love the wide brim on that one. Classic.
@mmbarnes - Matt, that thing is to die for. A vintage Stetsonian is a bucket list hat for me. Someday...
I took some time on my day off yesterday to do some hat work. Currently rebuilding a thin ribbon for my wife. I also spent some time opening the crown, reflanging, and putting a different crease in this Dalton. What was once a C-crown is now a centerdent.

That's a really nice looking warm weather hat. Thanks for sharing the fruits of your talents.Just finished making this Trilby, 2 inch brim, 4 3/4 crown. Sand color with copper ribbon. A bit of Raiders inspiration. Makes for a pretty neat spring/ summer hat.

Great looking hat Eric. It reminds me of my UsedToBeAHomburg. This morning I choose a more moderate crown height hat, a Knox Comfit with the Cavanaugh Edge. Lovely felt.
Dog walk and shoveling. An annoying 1" of snow overnight. The Knox and I went to work removing the small amount.
Best, Eric -
Thanks Mike. I hope you find a similar one soon.My holy grail Matt. Covet.
Great lines and brim edge David. Enjoyed seeing this one.
I have been liking a center dent more and more. With all of the European hats coming my way via Stefan, they are overtaking my diamonds in the hat room. Fantastic work on that Dalton, Mr. Dalton King!
Great looking Gannon Richard. The contrast with that creamy camel color is super.
By golly, by gosh Charlie!
Be careful Bob. Don't dent that Penman.View attachment 107452

That's a good looking hat, HRM. Dashing, as always.
@Frunobulax... Rocking the center dent, Jim!!! I may need to fire up the steamer.
Great! Should I bring clams?
Great Knox Eric! That Mugsy post yesterday brought back many good childhood memories of Saturday morning cartoons!

Reminds me of English Bob, The Duck of Death. From the movie, Unforgiven.I prefer the title bestowed upon me by Charlie, "The Duke of Dalton."
