A Borsalino is always in order, Bill. Especially such a good one.On this overcast gray morning it seemed a vintage dark grey Borsalino was in order.

The quality of your hats always amazes me, Eric.I wore a vintage Lee Desert Tones fedora yesterday evening while grilling dinner.
This morning yard chores and a dog walk in a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner.
I am grilling fish for a mid morning meal. A modern Gannon was the perfect hat for the task. Oh yes, a Founders Porter was the beverage of choice.
Best, Eric -
That might be the chief executive of all the hats on the lounge! Wow!This is one of the chief executives in my hat room. Pre-WWII Stetson Clear Beaver western hats don't come up for sale often. This one was discovered by Lounge member Zetwal and I was fortunate to be able to purchase it from him. I made a thread for it with more photographs here.
c.1940, more or less, price labeled at $37.50, which would be more than $650 today.
It may still yearn to be a homburg again, Matt It doesn't look like it's pining away though.Thank you all for the kind words about yesterday's homburg.
Whereas that hat tended towards blue, this one leans towards green. It is a Royal De Luxe that used to be a homburg.
May each of you have a sunny Sunday.
Excellent looking hat, Jim. Love that colour combination.I know you've considered going back to that hat's roots, but I think it's a fantastic conversion and love the look of it. Frankly, I think it looks a lot like my modern RD Stetsonian.
Happy Sunday, all.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Who goes there? Nice silhouette shot, Sergej.Same old, same old.

Peters Brothers this afternoon.
That is a magnificent looking hat, Bowen. Congrats.View attachment 107213 View attachment 107214 View attachment 107215 View attachment 107216 Greetings All:
Today it’s the Wonky Disney Camel Hair. Interestingly, it has a corded reed that begins with the sweatbow, extends up the sweat stitching then around the sweat. An unusual design. The crease is an inherent iteration of how it came. Ha
Be well. Bowen
Wonderful, Greg. Great proportions.
Very nice, Mike. New to the collection?Mallory Ten brown Homburg to church this morning. Had to have a hat for the camel overcoat, a little wet snow this morning.

You rock a western well! In fact I think it looks quite natural on you.Everyone looks great this morning.Reworked Miller for me today.
Looks amazing for a hat that age, Justin. Cool pics too.took this 1915s Stetson to get a new sweat, then the snow came
Love it Jack.
Super, Johnny. Nice two tone ribbon.A little too cold for fedora weather but here I am anyway

Another winner, Bill.Wore another vintage Borsalino for services this evening. The stitching on the brim is a nice feature on this fedora. Doozy, one of our Paso Fino mares, decided she needed to be in the picture.
