Max Förster "Saturn Pat." probably later 1930s early 1940s. This Soft Felt is made of Wool but has similar form and dimensions as my recent Echt Velour find.
That's a great Stagecoach Michael, love the curl. Makes you look like one of the long riders.Much less pleasant out this morning than it was yesterday morning. Resistol Stagecoach Long Rider in Tanbark

The use of the word aubergine made me smile Alan. Fabulous Borsalino.A hat from across the sea with subtle tones of aubergine.
Thanks steur. Sounds like we will warm up long enough to have a thunderstorm on Monday, and then cold again.Nice natural colour and great curve on the brim, Michael. Hope you get warm soon!

Another cool wool Steve. Why can't a modern Bailey look so good?Max Förster "Saturn Pat." probably later 1930s early 1940s. This Soft Felt is made of Wool but has similar form and dimensions as my recent Echt Velour find.
That hat looks AWESOME on youJust took a big Australia/New Zealand/South Pacific trip. Got another couple Akubras. This is the first--apologies, I'll cross-post into other applicable threads too.
First one, Akubra Cattleman in Bran. I'm really loving this hat. Great fit, versatile, seems to have all the right dimensions. Got it at the Strand Hatter in Sydney, just before getting on a ship. Here they are steaming out the new hat and putting in a tighter pinch for me. Added a chinstrap to it too, which ended up pretty handy at certain points of the trip.
And getting a tour around the south Pacific
Love that crease!
Greetings Rock et al:Found this in a vintage store in Tucson. I normally like something darker with a thin ribbon, but then...I touched it!

Now there’s a real “gem” of a hat!! Couldn’t resist. Ha Very nice. Quite the cactus behind you!
Be well. Bowen
