Well, it took me a while but I've looked at this weeks' hats and there was plenty of quality there as usual. Didn't have much time this week, so here's yesterday. Leica velours.

Wow Greg, that hat gets me going everytime I see it. Love that look of the wider ribbon with the western lines.

Thank you, Mike. The ribbon started out as something to hide flaws. Now it's one of my favorite things about the hat.

Another "everyday hat" in a overcast east Italy

Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore. Very "peachy" felt

Color "Lupo" without other indications, no name of the seller

It was made in the historical facvtory of Corso Cento Cannoni in Alessandria probably in the sixties

A very classic Borsalino of 60' in proportions and widht of ribbon

This is a pretty decent hat if you can get a good discount from the list price. Felt is much superior to the 6X and feels like it will be relatively easy to change the crease. Color is consistent and I’m not seeing excessive dye powder. My main complaint is the stitching attaching the ribbon- too many stitches and they look like they are shot in. The ribbon complaint is common to all new Stetsons.

Thanks again. It's a great hat. Gave me a couple of scares yesterday when some unexpected wind gusts showed up, but it got home safely.
