Nora-Hüte (Vienna) probably early 1950s maybe earlier and a recent arrival. Nora-Hüte was most likely a shop and there are no other company marks present.

Great looking hat Steve! I like the brim swoop on that one.
If you could hazard a guess, who do you believe manufactured the hat?

And absolutely frigid day, literally and figuratively. -5 outside. Went to a funeral today for one of my oldest and closest friends who was taken on Christmas in a senseless act of violence.
Some things I'll never understand. I wore a 60s Bee today.

Harv, Thanks! I have no idea but I am checking into it. I have a hat that is very similar but it also doesn't have any company marks and only the Vienna department store name (Stefan Esders) on the liner. You can see it here.

First outing for the Mallory XV shark's gill today. I'll try to get better pictures later. Loving this one a lot. Have to hit it with some steam, this is just a dry bash, very nice dress weight felt. Clay like to the fingers.

Early morning had me commuting in a fuzzy wool cap (Cordova Cap) in the -15f weather.

This afternoon yard chores finds me wearing a Stormy Kromer under a down hood in the warmest part of our day (-4'f and -25F accounting for wind chill).

Very nice. Is that a Remington 8 or an 81? I have an 8 in 30 Remington and an 81 in 35 Rem. Hats and rides are a good combination in my book.

Another of my conversions this cold Saturday. This Stagecoach has been taken apart and converted by three different people with me being the last to work on it.

Some Sha Na Na. I used to watch these guys when they had their own variety on television back in the '70s

and this 7up commercial from the early '70s

You do very nice work on those hats. I remember the Sha Na Na show also, was one of my favorite shows. I graduated from HS in 77.
