Yes, it is now winter.
Holiday parties still running me ragged.
Fuzzy old Biltmore this evening.

Cool colors.

Thank you, 65..

Good looking hat, nice color with the contrasting ribbon. Nice A2 also, goes very well with the hat.

Thank you, Harv.

So beautiful sir. Love the mode edge hats. This one is stellar.

Thank you, Michael.

Gorgeous, Greg! Lovely shape and great colours.

Thank you, Stefan. Great looking Lee you were wearing.

All of you fellas commented on the "colors" and I must say that is what first drew me to the hat. I like contrast. I also-enjoy the mode edge hats. Wish I had more.

Urban cowboy? That might be enough to turn me off of westerns forever! The late '70s and '80s cowboy scene bring back bad memories. I'm not instantly sold, but I'll continue giving it the occasional try.
I've worn western all my life, but the urban cowboy craze almost turned me off to them! The good side is now there are a lot of good westerns at good prices.

Going with ye ol' c. 1900 (or thenabouts) Dunlap.

This hat reminds me why I love old derbies so much. Tight curl... high crown... neato vents... extraordinary craftsmanship...

The subtle differences in the form from company to company and year to year just thrill me. It tempts me to offer to trade all of my fedora style soft felts (but not the homburgs) for stiff felts that I really, really dig. Well... maybe not ALL of the fedoras...

May your final Saturday of 2017 be the most superspecialspectacularificacious one yet. View attachment 100164 View attachment 100165 View attachment 100166 View attachment 100167 View attachment 100168 View attachment 100169 View attachment 100170 View attachment 100171 View attachment 100172

Crown to the stars on that Dunlap Matt. It has so many cool features, and for it's advanced years, is absolutely minty looking. Love this one.
