Yes, we do!:D
And thanks mmb, but I'll have to pass on the brewskis. Today actually marks 6 years 6 months without a drink. At this point if current events led me into temptation to fall off the wagon I think I'd skip the weak stuff anyway and head straight for the Tullamore Dew.

Congrats Moehawk on stringing those 24s together into 6 and 6!! That’s a long time! You to mmbarmes!! Great hats as always guys! Semper Fi!! Be well. Bowen

Hey all!
I recently made moe-riginal No. 8, a Lords' Hat in black Winchester rabbit. I decided to call it Lord Hemingway in honor of our dear departed perma-banned Bob.
Well, today I finished his little brother Earl.

The bros

Earl has a 5 1/2" open crown and a 2 3/8" brim. 125g. Ribbon is dyed midnight blue, shown compared to the black ribbon on big bro. Flanged on the same flange, but the 1/4" shorter brim gives a different effect.
My last Winchester body.:( oh well...
Have a great day!

Great job Moe!

Wore my newest acquisition, a Stetson Tom Mix, while cutting up some downed tree limbs this afternoon. It still looks like a "costume hat," but with some real world wear, I think it's going to develop into an authentic-looking 1920s western style hat. I pushed out the factory "Gus" crown crease and modified the side dents into more of an early 1900s "sagebrush crown" style.

Oh, and, unseasonably warm, sunny weather today, 50˙F or better. Usually mid-December would see near-freezing highs and several inches of snow.

A little snow dusting down this morning. Doubt it will bother the Dobbs Hanover Square

Have a great Friday,

This one of my favorite Dobbs out there Michael. The condition is just superb.

It’s been a week of weeks and day of days with lots of work challenges. Working from home and being cold, I had to pull out a French parachutist beret to confront the work issues.

That is the coolest label for a beret ever!!

Have to go out to get some provisions, Borsalino for the mission.

Justin, this is a museum piece! Did you swipe it from the Smithsonian or something?

Fritz Hückel Hutmacher Weilheim Western Germany "Zephyr Seal Velour" probably mid 1950s. This one was made for the American market by Hückel Weilheim Hutfabrik so they had to use Fritz Hückel Hutmacher Weilheim because of probable trademark issues with Tonak (Czechoslovakia).

Cool! It takes a bit to get used to a 5" brim.

Very beautiful, Steve. Looks like the hat has a great finish to the felt. That ribbon and small sharks gill sets it over the top.

Harv, Thanks! I forgot about this one but I decided to wear it yesterday. It does have a unique look. :)

Side note: Fritz Hückel wasn't interested in the hat business. He was an early automotive engineer (car design & production under the Hückel and Gnom) and was a pioneer of the European racing circuit (became the Grand Prix). He fled (to Bavaria) Czechoslovakia after WWII and financed a displaced Hückel workers startup in Weilheim, Germany.
