Nice, we all need a beater. Of course the "beaters" that @Short Balding Guy wears are show pieces, even when clearing brush. Interior shots of the liner would be appreciated. I kind of like these jobber hats, they tell an interesting story of hatmaking in the 50s/early 60s.

Still trying to make friends with a a couple of Tonaks I recently acquired. Still not sure.

For comparison, my jacket is navy blue so as you can see the hat is much lighter/brighter.

Thank you, it has a 6 1/2" crown, and 4" brim. It's the largest hat I own.

Not sure about those shades of blue together. The hat itself is nice. I think it would work well with a light grey or dark tan jacket.

I agree. I'm usually good with contrast. I put on that navy blazer to show how blue the hat was. I'm actually not going to wear either the blazer or the hat today. I have a staff meeting and I always wear a suit and a homburg to those. My colleagues have come to expect the homburg, and who wants to disappoint their fans?

That seriously big [emoji41] Since I started wearing hats I've really developed an appreciation for tall crowns and bigger brims. Probably due to folks round here wearing them so well.

Thanks Perry. I seem to recall I got this jacket at about the end of jacket season last spring. Can't have too much Harris in my opinion. I see you have moved into the cool weather shirts. When do the Fair Isles come out?
