On Labor Day Weekend black hats start to get paroled from their summer confinement.
Thanks BB! It's a modern hat but in that vintage Western crossover dress style that I have really begun to like. It's Texas Hat CO's 30X El Mejor. It has a nice velour-like touch to the finish but I doubt the 30X means all that much. You know I like black hats and that one is no exception. What is it HJ. Like that brim.
Finally something.
It all depends on what are you going to do with it.Joao, I have something out for delivery today I think will meet with your approval.
Awesome!20s Stetson Nutria

I agree on both counts.Like what you've done with that one, Michael. You really should post more often.
Thank you Steur.Great hat, Bob. Beautiful colour. Love the brim stitching.
Looks just right with the brim like that. Im curious... Did you had the same brim issues and finish problem with the ribbon and tacking stitches as Red did?
That's a nice hat, but that looks more like a rabbit hound that you've got there behind you.Knox Foxhound

I'm becoming a sucker for those brim curls...On Labor Day Weekend black hats start to get paroled from their summer confinement.
Looks like fun. And man do I want that sign.Camping in Dorset (southwest England) near the "Jurassic Coast" for my sons 6 birthday as he likes camping and looking for fossils (for limited time span!). Grabbed a Tilley.
Found out there is a hat festival 6 miles away!
By chance, I have my House if Rothshire beater so suitably hatted, off I went.
Everyone wearing various forms of hats, but only a few wearing fedoras of the standard and quality I see here. Perhaps some Loungers were there? Others were pretty far out there.
Found a hat shop.
Had fun exploring a large stock of Akubra, Christy's, Sasquechanna Hat Co. Some nice hats but nothing that had my reaching for my wallet apart from a nice Chrisy's paper boy cap. The thing is, I am better educated by the Lounge so erring towards the vintage. Still, it was fun browsing through hats and lots of first time hat wearers or buyers coming into the shop so good to see more people wearing hats!
Have a great Haturday, haha[emoji3].
